NJCIC ANNOUNCES PROJECT 287(g)
NJCIC announces a new
initiative: Project 287(g)
We want every town and
county in New Jersey to be able to partner with the federal government in
enforcing immigration law.
The Division of
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which is part of the Department
of Homeland Security, has a program which will train local law enforcement
to do just that. It is called ICE Program 287(g) and it is currently being
implemented in numerous towns and counties around the country.
We want Program
287(g) in New Jersey.
Click the links below to
learn more about this program.
Contact NJCIC via e-mail
if you want to help bring it to your community.
